So far this year, I have only made one resolution. My resolution is that in 2017 I need to acquire at least one new Henry. I have, quite frankly, been lagging when it comes to buying Henry rifles.

The biggest issue will be deciding which Henry to buy. In the past couple of years, the already embarrassment of riches that is the Henry lineup has exploded with new choices. How choose?

I think I've narrowed it down to two calibers, the first being .357 magnum, and the second would be .45-70. I have a Ruger Blackhawk that I reload for, and it would be really nice to have a rifle that shoots the same thing. The problem, though? Big Boy brass, Big Boy steel? What a conundrum.

The .45-70 is a chambering I am very interested in. The problem with that? Now there's not only the excellent lever guns, but now we have the new single shot rifles to look at. Those things have really caught my attention!

I need to save my nickels and pennies for a bit, as I bought a few more guns in 2016 than I had planned on. But I am resolved- this is the year for a new Henry!

Just my opinion, but the brass look really classy and have a nice old west feel to them. But either way you can't go wrong.

My resolution is to ride more and worry less.
My "Henry" resolution is to find some way to own a H011C. If finances won't cooperate it might just have to be through sheer will power.

My resolution is not to make any and just go out and buy and shoot as many firearms as I can.

I'm in the market for two Henry's this year, if good fortune allows.

I've never owned a shotgun, so it's about time. I like their 20 gauge, single-shot Brass model; and it would be an allowable hunting firearm for Turkey in this state. The 22WMR is newly permitted for small game hunting in CT, so I'd also like to own one of those, though I'm not certain about which model. I like an octagonal barrel, so that will likely help me decide as the time approaches.

Circumstances will dictate when and for what, but it is my New Year's resolution to go hunting this year for the very first time. I'm 66 now and time, as the song says, "...keeps on slippin', slippin' into the future".

I'm beginning to see a bit of a pattern here with the resolutions. I could be wrong, but the word HENRY seems to appear quite often. I wonder why that could be!

I have no resolution just sheer will power and I went a bought a new Henry. I bought one of those Monument Valley 22LR. There how do you like that RR.

Now THAT is probably the most sensible resolution I've ever heard!

My resolution? I never make one, but if I did, it would be ditto to Ditto.

In order, I'd like the Henry Original in .45 LC, a Big Boy .357 and a 45/70 in the all weather configuration. We will see if finances allow for any or all of them?

Well, with the lucrative pay you receive for working so hard at this forum, you should have no problem affording at least one.

I know it will be another BBS, but it will be a carbine this time though.
Now which one, 45lc or a 41 mag. to go with the rifle I got last year

Or I might break down and get an original in 45.
