mag tube to big boy

Santa's present to me was a big boy 44 .............tried to remove mag tube to load some shells but can barely rotate the tube.......any ideas?

heck of a Santa present .. :D .. with the tube, I'd suggest you remove it and clean/lightly lube both the tube and its holder .... if that doesn't solve the problem, call Henry .... they will make it right in a hurry

Did you firmly push the tube in before you turned it? If did where you able to push it in? Look at the two captive locking pins on the end and see what position they are in.

In my BB 45 the tube was hard to turn. I just removed the O-ring at the end, depressed the follower with a piece of scrap wood to protect the follower, file the tubing back to allow it to turn in the room available (removed only a few thousandths on mine). Replace O-ring. (Less work than shipping the gun back.)
