I just purchased a Henry Golden Boy a few days ago to add to my Henry collection! Am having too much fun shooting this!! I have a case hardened Big Boy in 45 long Colt and a Deluxe model Big Boy in 357 magnum that's a real stunning looker the wood on this is beyond beautiful 😍!! Anyways back to the Golden Boy, this 22 is super accurate it shoots most ammo quite well but the 3 that group the best for me is CCI Standard velocity. Federal Auto Match, and Remington Standard V!!! What do you other guys shoot in yours??πŸ™‚

Congratulations on your new Golden Boy!
My go to .22 LR ammo for all my Henry 22s is CCI mini mag 36 gr HP.
I use a lot of Federal Match bulk ammo in my .22 handguns.

I think there was glitch in forum website yesterday that caused that. In backroom admin post management your post was there once. So you're good.

And Welcome to the forum.

Thanks for taking care of it Mags.

I'm glad you like your new Golden boy.

A Golden boy was my first Henry. You could say it launched more than lead bullets. It got us all together here you could say.

Love the Golden Boy 22lr, my shooting is not a testament to my rifle's accuracy, it's in spite of it. In steadier hands with better eyes there would probably be much better results. I feed mine an assortment: CCI minimags, Aguila Cooper plated round nose,Federal Automatch. If I practiced regularly with it I'm sure I would improve. I've handled several Henry Rifles besides my own Big Boy and Golden Boy and all of them shot great right out of the box.

I reload for my Big Boy Brass in 357magnum. When developing New loads for 38special or 357magnum it's usually my GP100 that has a specific appetite for a specific load , generally the Big Boy shoots most recipes about the same.
