More Henrys at the LGS

Post by Hatchdog » Sat Aug 12, 2023 9:29 am

I was in the LGS in Deer Park yesterday and saw a better selection of Henry’s that’s I’ve seen in quite a while. Including a blue 30-30 that I need to go back and buy. I think it was $989 which seems pretty high so I’m going to do some research on that.

Just go buy it. You need a new gun to keep the rest of them company. Maybe if you buy another one it will get you pointed to the range to shoot the rest of them that you have been going to shoot all year

Should be able to get a std loop lever for about $900 and large loop lever for about $930. But, you might miss out waiting for one at those prices. $989 is decent.

This one is the large loop and I prefer the standard lever. I’m sure if I buy it somebody on this site would make a lever trade with me. Did it once before. Got a guy interested in buying a rifle from me and if he does……well maybe.

Of course then begins the journey……next would be a scope. I do have a mount and rings and ammo on hand.

Thanks guys, if I get there I’ll be in touch. Did go back to the shop yesterday and took another look and found that my “memberin” of the price was wrong. It’s $949 not $989 but it’s still a grand no matter how you look at it.
