I feel your pain, I ended up buying my two big boy x's used as new in box. one from GB, and one locally.

I prefer the X with good wood furniture. But yeah, if you are thinking about a 'can' you ought to just bight the bullet and go BBX

Rural King Guns (RKguns.com) almost always has some in stock. Check daily, on Tuesday there were 8 in stock. On Thursday there were 18 in stock. 22lr, 22mag, 357mag w/side gate just to name a few.
