And this is my only unfavorable about my H006M. The knurled end of the tube won't fully seat in the slot in the magazine. It's a slow loading, lousy design. I sat it on the floor on the butt yesterday and the tube popped out of the magazine tube like a jack-in-the-box. I'm trying to sell my H006M to replace it with an H006GM. The side gate loading just makes a bunch more sense.
Im guessing you havent shot many 22 leverguns because the tube feed design has been around for quite sometime. If yours wont lock into place you are not doing something right. Try cleaning out the tube or getting a new oring. It should lock

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

I had same problem. Tried all the solutions. Eventually just sent the rifle back and it came back fixed. I don't know what they did.

I had this very problem with a Henry Classic Brass .357. Called Henry, they sent me a new tube with a plastic plunger and it has been flawless since.
Original plunger was metal, if that had anything to do with it. But, new one worked. Possibly give them a call.
