No Big boy steal
No Big boy steal
Was in a dealer for Henry Rifles, no steal, no single shots, They did have Big boy Brass and 4 rifles in 22lr. I kind of thought we would be making a come back.
Re: No Big boy steal
Like every manufacturer, Henry is still trying to catch up with demand. And the current shipping, skilled workforce, and supply chain issues don't help.
Here's the NSSF number for gun sales ytd and Nov. 2021. As you can see firearms and ammo are still flying off the shelfs almost as fast as they are made.

Over a ten month wait in NJ . Ordered on Black Friday 2020, picked up middle of October 2021.
Re: No Big boy steal
I know an FFL in Ky that had a Big Boy Steel 20" in 357 Mag as of noon today, & he ships. If anyone is interested PM me (nothing in it for me & no affiliation other than good experiences buying from him).
Re: No Big boy steal
I wonder that there is a run on lever action rifles , after all they aren't "black rifles" but I wouldn't steal one.

Re: No Big boy steal
I saw a 30-30 youth model yesterday at of all places Walmart.
Price was $864, the barrel looked shorter but it could've been just me.
And I didn't ask to look at it.

For the past couple of weeks I have been paying attention to the Henry inventory at the few shops I have been in since I’m thinking about getting a .410 lever. I’m seeing mostly only steel models both in centerfire and rimfire. I don’t think I have seen a Golden at all. And what I do see is just a very few Henrys on hand at all the shops I have been in. There are a few .410 levers at online dealers but I’m in no hurry so I’m hoping to find one at a local shop. Now .410 ammo, that’s even worse…….

Was in a shop today that I've never been to..
A guy was checking with a Henry SS 44mag, and they had another in 223.
First time handling one, those things are heavy, but it had the sweetest trigger. Oh my.

Re: No Big boy steal
Took me three months to score a .357 BB Steel. Won't no "steal" either: I got it at $50 below MSRP for paying cash.
Why not try what I tried? I used Henry's Web site to ID dealers w/in 100 miles of me. I e-mailed all of them, and a few got back. One that did found me a rifle. In fact, he found a .44 mag first, but I preferred the .357.
