Hello all,
Sorry if this has been asked before, new to the AR platform. I recently purchased a Del-Ton sport and a scope to go along with it. I'd like to remove front sight on ar15 a2 and install a carbine length hand guard. Do I have to install a new gas block when I remove the sight? It seems like everything I see with front sight remove and hand guard changes there is mention of new gas blocks. Just want to make sure I order the correct parts, appreciate any help you can give.

Do I HAVE to install a gas block after A2 Front Sight removal?

Yes. The front sight doubles as a gas block. Read up on it. Not too tuff.
