Well maybe I'm a bit to harsh on Buds after finding this little jewel on Guns International....1299 for a new 22 mag Mare's Leg??
https://www.gunsinternational.com/guns- ... =101592039

Guess all new Henrys are collector grade now for a while!
Holy cow I’m rich!
Ha! That's nothing. Here's a Win 9422m, they want $1299.95 for. https://www.gunsinternational.com/guns- ... =101601346

Compare it to mine of the same year and model.

What ya' think? -- $2k for mine?

Something to keep in mind for stuff like this. Inflation. That $1300 is barely keeping up with inflation since 1973. $1300 today was $219 in 1973, which is within a few dollars of what I paid for mine back then. So knock that off, and then take into account other factors like condition (poor in this case), and the asking price for the 9422m above is about double what it's actually worth in real collector value.

Just picked up a H010B last week for $100 under retail. Wasn’t from Buds, obviously.

Another gouger, but hey in this climate, I think we all are, could be rich.
With the current going ons, I could definitely make a killing on my collection,
as some have been here for years, and a lot were purchased at some rather inexpensive prices.
But that'll never happen, hoping that at least a couple of the 4 grandsons will show an interest.
If so they'll get 'em, if not then the wife can sell 'em after my demise and take a nice Looooooong vacation.

A friend down the road thought it was (handsome, smooth, and accurate) also. He's been begging me to sell it to him for the last 5 years. I let him shoot it occasionally, just to tease him. He's about 25 years my junior, so he may find it on his doorstep someday. ;)

I rarely ever buy a rifle, but when I do, it's a Henry.

I've bought many firearms and items from Buds over the years, and in the beginning it was great. But it came to a point that every time I ordered a firearm it was 2-3 weeks wait before it reached my FFL. This happened several times so I don't deal with them anymore and it's been a good 3 years since I've placed an order. There are many more online sellers with decent prices and next day shipping and good customer service. I've tried over and over to support my LGS but his prices are high and he won't budge on price no matter how much business I do with him. Recently I found a nice family owned gun shop at 45 minute drive from me and the place is excellent, good inventory and prices and this has become my new go to place to support. They also stock many lever action rifles from Henry and Rossi.

I bought my Uberti/Taylors .45 Colt "Old Randall" from Tombstone Tactical in Az during this covid craziness several months ago. Price was under $420 and shipped in two days. I don't know what their inventory is like nowadays, but, they were fantastic then.

Just checked. Depleted on most things like everyone else. Dang!

Had a local guy post a 9422 mag on our trader site. At first he just offered it and some other firearms for trades but yesterday he added prices to his guns available. Yep, he wants $1300.00 for his 9422 mag. He must have seen the Buds offer.
