Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

He lowered his price to $1200.00 and yes, it is a fine looking rifle.

I'm done with Bud's simply because they don't have anything I want, anymore. I've bought a few guns off of them over the past few years simply because they had what I wanted at the best price.

Nowadays, they simply don't have anything I want.

I just sold my Remlin 1894 in .45 Colt on Gunbroker for $700. I paid $600 for it on Buds 2 years ago. Just a horrible rifle compared to my JM 1894. I couldn't believe that I didn't lose money on it. Used that money to pay the bill on my Henry Big Boy X in .45 Colt that I bought locally for $799.

Those were going for $1000 to $1200 on Gunbroker.

Just sold a Ruger M77 "boat paddle" rifle I bought new in 2000 for $400. Got $800 for it. Never did like that rifle.

I went to Bud's to look for a replacement; a Ruger Predator rifle in .308. They didn't have any. Local gun shop didn't have any. Went on Gunbroker and a couple were bid up to $600 for some weird reason. I bought mine for $499, which is ridiculously high, but it checked all the boxes for me.

Lately, I noticed that even when Bud's has something in stock, it is no longer competitively priced. Too bad.

I have noticed the same that Buds has hardly anything in stock. I look on Guns International now or in the case of my latest Henry purchase I bought my EvilRoy 22 LR carbine direct from Evil Roy's shop cheaper than any other place IF they had it. $ 455 with shipping included.

Nothing to do with Buds but an interesting coincidence is I was in a different LGS a few days ago and they had on EvilRoy in stock. Forget the price. First one I have seen but I haven’t paid much attention until reading about them on this site.
