Low Serial Numbers

I received an email from Henry in regards to some new rifles they were putting out. I was intrigued, as one of them was something in a configuration that I wanted very much. I went down to my local Scheels Sporting Goods Store and asked if they had one. They said, no, but could order one right away. They called the next day and told me it had arrived. My first Henry and was pleasantly surprised as it was serial #500. I thought that was pretty cool.
Since then I have wondered if anyone else has purchased a firearm with a low serial number, new or used. I am sure some can be more can be more expensive???
I am also wondering if there is a way to get low serial numbers when a new firearm becomes available to the public.

UPDATE and ANSWER to a query in the thread:

Model # H009CC 3030 Steel CCH Color Case Hardened .30-.30 with an Octagon Barrel. Switched to the large lever so I could shoot it wearing gloves in winter. Wonderful rifle. When my son came to visit (20 yrs in Army this summer) I thought he was going to ask me to send it to him along with the Ruger Bearcat I sent him (for his daughter-yeah, right, uh-huh).

When Henry first produced the 41 mags. I got a pretty early one, #241.
Which was pretty cool to me as it happened to be my second 41 mag firearm.
BigAl, has an even earlier 41, but I don't recall what is was, he told me, but
I suffer from CRS.

I have a low serial numbered 10/22 my father-in-law bought the first year they came out. My first H001 Classic that I bought new was made in 1999 and has a three digit number.

Not on subject but I have two pistols with consecutive SNs. And I have many milsurps with matching numbers meaning the numbers on all the parts are the same.

I agree, may be a bragging point but other than that, none.
As for mine, the guy had four and gave me the choice,
he had one for sure and maybe another that was lower than the one I picked.
But the other numbers had no significance to me.

Soon after Henry announced the single shots, I ordered a 45-70 from a Dealer in Rice Lake (you can almost see the plant from there ), but it took a while before they were actually shipping them. The serial number is 191, if I remember correctly. It's currently back in Rice Lake, on the recall, being worked on as we speak .

how low is low? Got one BBS rifle serial # 5 Got one in BBS carbine Serial#462 both in 41 Rem mag in 44 mag carbine 1124 and in 22 SGC #5978
