Why no All Weather carbine?

Just typing out loud here, looking at all the nice Henry rifles on the web it makes me wonder why no AW carbine. Of course the market dictates these multi million dollar decisions but the Marlin 1894 and Rossi stainless carbine are very popular. Anyhow I'd be delighted to see an All Weather carbine. What say you ?

Me too, but not with a wood stock. Plastic please. Or if they must use wood, give us sexy gray laminate stock like the Marlins. Or just make the metal satin stainless steel in the first place....

I don't really care for the look of the AW's, I'm with John on this one. Just give me the regular ss and the laminated stock.

I'll have to go with John & Randy. I don't care for the AW look. I'm sure it has it's niche, and not everyone's taste is the same, otherwise, we'd all be looking for the same thing, and they'd all be sold out.
Mine is steel, if it gets wet, I clean it add a bit of oil, I'm good to go.
There's a Henry family group on FB. You wouldn't believe all the ideas this bunch comes up with.
I think Henry has been pretty good about coming up with new types, and no doubt they're not thru yet.
Guess I'm just old school...as long as it works well, gets the job done, I'm good.

I'm gonna vote the other way.... to me, a true all weather should be weatherproof first, "pretty" falls way on down the list.

Chrome is tougher than stainless in every way.... heck its tougher than CM steel.

I like the way Henry did the all weather guns, and if they had an all weather carbine that's what I would have bought.
