I would like to see Henry offer a plain vanilla 16” barrel 6.5 lbs trail rifle in a 30-30 or 460 S&W. It need not have a saddle ring, octagon barrel or any of the other gingerbread adders. In other words, a woodsmen’s working rifle. CP.

I don't think that shooting a 6.5 pound 460 would be very much fun.

I agree, but one in .480 Ruger like the old Rossi Puma carbine would be a hoot, and not too hard on the shoulder. Soft rubber buttpad required however. Hopefully Heny would never mis-clock the front sight:

I would really like to see a 270 in the single shot, or Long Ranger. The single shot is the most attractive to me.
Remember, it's not how many guns you have. It's how many bullets you have.

Sorry, that doesn't appeal to me. I like Henry because of the traditional look and feel. If I wanted something like what you described, I would look somewhere other than Henry. I hope they move back to the more traditional look with the next few introductions. I also agree with the gentleman that hates synthetic materials on a gun.

That would be cool! Where can/could we also get a revolver in matching caliber?

Either that or an O/U. Not holding my breath, though!

I am thinking .32 Winchester special with 1:12 twist rate instead of 1:16. Another would be 35 Remington.

I would love it if Henry would make a Tactical 357 with the Midwest industries forearm composite or blacked out stock and a 16” bbl. They have been teasing this now we need them to fill in the blanks..

For me, they already build what I’d be looking for - a .357 carbine. I just don’t know if that one will ever be in the cards for me.
