Not a firearm but I'd love to see Henry offer a retrofit recoil pad to replace the brass butt plates on our brass guns. it would be very nice on my Big Boy and 45/70. Something that would use the existing screws so we could change between the brass and the recoil pad.

Recoil pad? With your light handloads, I don't see the need for a recoil pad. Now if you were shooting the HSM Bearloads . . .

That's what I've been building lately. That doesn't mean that I don't have the parts and desire to build some "Bear Loads"!

Or other moderately hot stuff for way down range. We do have a place to try 200 yd shots.

The Big Boy has seen far more factory level ammo than light stuff.

Options are good!

I could sure use a buttpad shooting .22 shorts.

In addition to the buttpad, you could also hollow out your stock and install a mercury recoil reducer; about 12 oz. would handle the .22 shorts very nicely!

Anything in .223 Remington would be great!

Also, let's expand the all-weather lineup to pistol calibers!

I heard talk of a guy in Fl. from DWF, who's son was trying to mod a 44 Mag to .445 !! That would be a thumper
Don't know what happened yet. I'll put a comparison pic on later for those not familiar w/445s

44 Mag and 445 Super Mag, basically a 44 on steroids. Made for IHMSA shooting, WILL go though an engine block !! And SPLIT big rocks [not recommended] . Quite the hand full in a DW 6", and often clear out indoor ranges !! The shock wave shakes your cheeks

35 rem or better yet 356 win. Thank you very much.
Or a 308 win. Not watered down like the 307 win.
Hornady could make the ftx. Gummy tips for it.

I believe you will get your request on the 308 win with the new Long Ranger correct? I posted asking for a .223 rem and low and behold the long ranger will be available in that chambering! (Obviously that was already announced well before I posted, I just didn't know the Long Ranger existed)

No it will be fed by a box magazine so they won't be end to end in a magazine tube. 4 rounds of .308 win.
