The 41 mag BBS prices were $739 for the rifle and $749 for the carbine. Not sure why the difference but it looks like they have had the rifle on hand longer due to the condition of the price tags. 8.1% sales tax on top of the price of course. You guys made me go back to the shop and look, thank you.

State Sales tax is actually just 6.5%, local “city added” taxes raise it, but groceries aren’t taxed. For my location it is 8.9% total, for Seattle 10.1%. Don’t roll your eyes about that unless you happen to live in one of the seven states without an income tax. WA does not have one. OTH it has the highest gasoline sales tax in the nation, which is problematic for stuff like fixing rusted bridges and filling potholes, because hardly anybody is buying gas now.... and also high business taxes, which drives small business owners to move into Idaho. They get you one way if not the other(s)... so I guess we do deserve some kind of eye roll.

Actually I am considering emigrating to Mars. .... https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.popula ... rlink-app/ .... but they will probably have a “being there, breathing and eating tax” and just shove you out an airlock if you don’t pay.
