I know it's a bummer to have to send it back (I did it twice and got a replacement rifle after the second time), but it will be made right. Just a heads up... they will request that you remove the scope and rings before you do. Let us know how it all works out. Thanks.

Im like CT Ive sent one of mine in twice and another one once. Its not fun but they do take care of you and make it easy. When they send the forms and they give you a link to whats going on with your rifle. Pay attention to the link that sends you to the sheet while your rifle is at Henry. The last time I sent mine in I didnt get an email it was on its way back but they do post a shipping number there when its on its way back.

Update on my loose magazine tube issue. Henry emailed me this morning with a shipping label for Rice Lake, WI. That facility is open while NJ is not. They asked me to remove the scope and then ship it directly to them, no FFL needed.

Now I just need to find a box that my Original Henry box can slide into.

But, sounds like warranty work is in fact up and running, just FYI.

Good news, hassle to send in and wait, however, I know you will be a satisfied customer when it returns!

When I sent mine back, I got a box from the LGS that I bought the gun from.

Update:

I just logged into the portal and I see that they shipped my rifle back to me today. Wow, that was fast. However, there does not seem to be a record of what they did to the rifle. Is there supposed to be? Or is that only on the paperwork inside the box when it arrives?

I'm sure they're very busy and rushed.
Maybe they assume that if everything is a-ok...it will be obvious. I CAN however, understand you wanting to hear or see it from them.
I think it will be on the returning paperwork. If I remember correctly, that is how it turned out for me....been a while.

its been my experience that they haven't spent much time filling out detailed info on the website or on forms packed with the rifle .... when I've gotten my rifle back and it works I stopped worrying about it and enjoyed shooting it :D

Conax it will be in the box as to what they did. It does eventually appear on the site but not right away. Keep us posted. Like Mark says no reason to be sorry. If you have never done it before one doesnt know.

My henry has been stuck in Chicago since Friday. "Civil unrest has delayed your shipment." Funny thing is that the UPS center there is no where near the "unrest." UPS is just using this as an excuse to suck.

My firearm was only with Henry for 2 business days ( I think they probably just put a new barrel on it and called it good.) But here I am wondering when ill receive the thing.

The only company who has shined thru this entire mess of one thing or the other is Amazon. The USPS is the worst

Been waiting 19 days for a package shipped USPS. No tracking available except "SHIPPED". Showed up in tracking Friday in MN then went to ND (last entry) to get to SW Michigan. Have to agree that USPS is not the best choice.

USPS is the reason I don't do as much business with Brownell's as I used to. Their other shipping is to expensive and USPS usually takes 10-12 days to go 300 miles. Stage coaches would have been faster.

Got the Henry back today. The paperwork reads as follows.

"Replaced outer magazine tube support." "Cleaned, lubed, and checked over rife. Test fired."

Looks good and I got my scope back onto the pic rail.

Cany anyone comment on if I can expect the scope to be on paper at 100 yards just like when the guy mounted it for me? All I did was dismount from the pic rail, I did not open up the rings themselves. So shouldn't I still be on paper?

I still have one package as arrived USPS carrier facility Miami, FL 5/5/20 . That's the last update. Luckily I was dealing with a good company and they sent me my order again and I got it in 3 days. Go figure.
