None. The modern calibers are all superior to the .44-40.

I like the .44-40 in the New Original Henry because it is as close as possible to the original .44 Henry cartridge.

Thanks C T Shooter for the reply and the welcome. I do know Henry does make a beautiful 1860 style Henry in 44-40 . It is just a little out of my price range. I have a colt clone saa in 44-40 I would love to have a Henry rifle to go with it. Now thinking about it a case color hardering finish boy boy with octagon barrel would fit the bill. The caliber is just nostalgic to me. Thank you. Mike 1873

well understood .... many of us have 22, 327, 38/357, 41, 44/44 Mag, and 45 revolvers that share the same desire to have a matching long gun
