Went to the range this afternoon, beautiful day here in central Kentucky. The Henry Original 45LC shot great. The sights were dead on at 50 yds. Have to get use to the ammo feeder spring working it’s way down the barrel as you shoot. I was using a tripod rest and kept forgetting to pick the gun up to let the spring feeder come on down the barrel. My only issue was the lever action is not as smooth as my other Henry’s. It hung on me a couple of times and took more force than I was used to getting it all the way down. Hopefully it will loosen a little, if not I may have to call Henry.
