How about a Henry Semi-auto 9mm carbine?

I just realized this is the second time that you’ve started a thread on Henry making a semi auto 9mm Carbine. You must REALLY want one. There is this company called Ruger that makes one. You might like it!

The AR-7 receiver & barrel are too light for 9mm.
It would require a complete redesign and the result would probably something similar to the Ruger PCC.
I give a thumbs down on a 9mm semi auto from Henry. They are stretched too thin as it is and don't need to add anything to complicate matters.

Being a handloader I am not very fond of any type of firearm that scatters empty brass all over the landscape. I very rarely shoot my pre-war Colt National Match 45 for that very reason. With a levergun I can save my brass without a lot of trouble. I also have several centerfire revolvers to shoot that will eject brass right into my hand. So a semi auto in anything but .22 rim fire does not interest me.

Henry is great at Lever Guns and Single Shots.........the AR-7 is a good little shooter but I hate to see Henry take it's focus off the Lever Guns by trying to compete with all the other "rapid shooters". Don't get me wrong I own a number of auto's as well as a number of BP rifles and revolvers. I just think if a company has a focus they should enhance that focus.....not water it down with other offerings.
