Mare's Legs

How many others here enjoy shooting a Mare's Leg? This one has been modified. Removing the barrel sight and putting one on the receiver about doubled the sight radius. I used a Williams mount because I don't believe Skinner made a receiver sight for it when I installed it. The Steven's peep along with the Lyman Globe makes it very accurate.

The best modification was by Andy Larson of Skinner Sights. He started with an OEM front sight/hanger and made it accept a standard dovetail sight. Without this modification it would be like driving a car with three wheels.

Well you know I love my mini Henry. You were very much an influence in my decision to get it. And I learned a ton about how to shoot it well by following your range reports.

I shoot a lot of shorts, and CCI SV.

I shoot mostly HV shorts in mine.
