PT7 -- my short primer on shooting off hand

I shoot my best when I don't overthink it. I only shoot paper but try to simulate real world conditions by "just shooting". Usually generates best results.

Those big ginormous Ponderosa pine cones I bet really dance around when hit.

Yep! Many pine cones are injured or killed during my shooting sessions!

Here in Tucson Az there's not a lot of pine trees unless i get up into the higher elevation. But i will keep the pine cones in mind. Here its a 12ga and a giant tumble weed, if it wanted to see something dance and disintegrate into little pieces upon impact. It's kinda fun when your able to shoot at one while it's rolling.

I could not agree more. I like to shoot offhand with all my rifles. I am a rather large beast and sitting at a bench hunched over a rifle is not comfortable or natural. when I am woods walking, I stop raise rifle line up sights id target squeeze. sometimes in hunting situations this needs to be accomplished within just a few seconds. the wobble? well just got to time the shots and wobble consistently.
