Hope Henry will see fit to chamber the single shot in more revolver cartridges. Very popular concept, right now, for rifles.

One in 45 colt is what I’m hoping for. Hopefully it’s in the works.

I might think about one in 357 that would also be nice. I cant help but think with a 44 mag that the 45 colt and 357 are in the works.

I have an H&R single shot in 45 Colt. It is a lot of fun to shoot. I would definitely be interested in a Henry in 357.

Something fast, flat shooting but sort of mellow would be my choice for a single shot rifle. Maybe a .25-06.
I never had one but always admired their ballistics. It would sure make for a nice varmint, antelope, coyote, or even white tail gun. A .243 would be almost as good, and already on the production list.
I'd think a .45-70 would really bring me the flinchies in one of these. Ouch.

OUCH indeed .... I've been thinking about it and based on our CCH 45-70, flinchies is putting it mildly

I can double-action a .480 Ruger into a paint can at 25 yards and empty it in 4.3 seconds. (a game we played) That said, only three guns have ever made me not enjoy shooting them. One was a 10 gauge goose gun, one was my late brother's .58 Hawken loaded with yuge conical bullets and 120 grains, and one was his Sharps carbine shootin 405(+) grn boolits and who knew how much powder. Took the fun right out.
The worse they kicked the more he'd go around trying to get people to take a shot with em.
He'd shoot them til he ran out of ammo, every time. with a big ol smile..

Nuts.
