.327 BBS at the range
Took the newbie rifle to the range yesterday. The biggest surprise was power difference between the rifle and a 4" revolver with the same ammo. The 327 seems to be a bit heavier built than my BBS in .357, the escutcheon for the magazine tube is of much heavier construction. The general fit and finish were excellent , wood was superior, it's a Henry alright!

Great to see that the 327 Henry is finally out. Love to hear how it shoots for you.

The 327FED in the BBS shoots like the "death ray", almost no drop out to 100 yds. I chronographed the 100 gr American Eagle SP's at an average of 2008 fps, that's fast for a straight walled pistol round! I have yet to mount an optic, but managed 1 1/2 " groups at 50 with the buckhorns, I expect that a 100 with optics.

I'm glad to hear you guys like yours. I've never shot a .327.
How is the power difference in the rifle and revolver? Do you mean the rifle develops more velocity, which I would expect? Please tell me more about your new rifle gunman5646. It sounds like you liked it.
