I just bought what appears to be new old stock Henry Original Rare in 44-40
Its beautiful
According to customer service, the serial number indicates it was built in March of 2014
It also is a very low serial number Does this indicate it was one of the first produced?

I would have to say a qualified "probably". I think they were first sold around the time yours was made. I can't say for certain though.

I agree with Dave on that, and that you can send them an e-mail with sn., and they will let you know.
I bought a used 44 Big Boy some years back and contacted them about it.
They sent me a reply with month and year of manufacture,
