Got to the range yesterday with my .243 and it is much improved. Will really enjoy shooting it now and it will compete with my Henry H009 for use during deer season. At some point can see adding another caliber to the collection.

Received my .44 mag back in a week! Shot well, trigger is smooth! They received on a Friday and it was back on the next Friday. Only issue is that hammer was riding higher than previous and extender was now touching the scope and resulted in light primer strikes. Fixed with minor metal removal with dremel. Don't know if a new hammer was part of the repair.

Henry received my 44 Friday. I got a shipping notice Tuesday afternoon. So they has it two business days, pretty fast turn around! I'm waiting for them to send a box and label for my H015 30-30, that should be only a few weeks. The trigger pull on both is pretty high and if it's less after the service I'll be happy. I had dreaded going to the UPS main service center in Austin but there was only one person ahead of me.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

My 44 arrived today after a very quick turn-around. The hammer seems easier and the trigger is way better! It was over eight pounds and is now 4 to 4 1/2 pounds with a crisp break and very little over travel. Now I'm waiting to send my 30-30 in. I'm very satisfied with Henry's handling of the recall.

I finally heard back from Henry on my recall. It was just short of 4 weeks by the time I sent in my request for the recall. When I got home there was a box here and a shipping tag to return it to Rice Lake. Its now on its way scheduled to be there on Tuesday. I will keep you updated.

Just received back my 45-70 and 30-30. As some background, both of these rifles had already been sent to Henry once for trigger, hammer work in about January 2020. Both came back great, completely crisp with about a 4 lb trigger release and a very acceptable hammer pull. I posted my compliments to Henry on this forum. Then came the safety recall. Both back to Henry again and just returned. Now both triggers have very noticeable creep. I am very disappointed and frustrated. Believe that my Henry Rifles experiment is about over!
