Agree with Jim call Henry. Tia is a good one to call or email Anthony.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

I've not yet contacted Henry, may do that. But this issue should not require a third trip back. May hunt with one of them this fall, and decide what to do after hunting season. --- Thanks for the suggestions.

I agree but in this day and age, as with anything, it is more about the money then the care. It's a shame that a well known firearms manufacture is starting to show blemish.

I would also agree. But business owners today have a real time hiring people who do care many dont. Those type of people are few and far between. Ive seen it to many times when I was still working. Mine is out for delivery today. As soon as it comes I will report back on how mine turned out. Mine had a gritty trigger and heavy pull before I changed springs. There was still some creep and gritty trigger after the spring change but at least the trigger was lighter.

I just got my SS 357 and unboxed it. Mine has just a little creep not even enough to worry about and then off it goes. Im happy with mine. Its 10 times better than it was and the hammer pull is very much acceptable. I will be putting my extension back on which sould even make it better.

I don't like boxing up and sending off so I had my gunsmith from Cowboy SASS go over my Henry 44 mag's trigger and he did a nice job on it. Had it back in three days. He's coming for my Ruger NM Blackhawk 45 Colt, in a few weeks to open my cylinder throats for my cast bullets too. He made my 38/357 Ruger Vaqueros gunfighter slick, even put my Smoke Wagons to shame. It's a wonderful feeling knowing there are still great gunsmiths around. That is a trade that is leaving us too, sorry to say.

it most certainly is .... over the last few years we've taken several rifles, shotguns and handguns to a Gunsmith who lives just north of Houston .... he's made a positive difference in everything we have taken to him .... his project for this coming Saturday will be to glass bed and refine the trigger of our 300 WBY Mag ....

Now there is a cartridge that I have always admired. That ought to be a real shooter with a bedding and trigger job.
