Spring has sprung. Get out and shoot your Henry
H015 45-70
H015 45-70
Well my ss now a 45-90 .i use a 525 grain soft lead bullet, and black powder only. I have shot 502 rounds through it so far usually 70 at a time. Love it and 200 yard targets no problem.recoil is not bad but at 6.5 tall and 250 pounds it does not feel any more than a45-70. I manage to get 90 grains in the case with a drop tube.

That sounds like a very interesting cartridge.I just looked up what your rifle is. I like it. I bet that single shot platform is very accurate.

Yes very accurate. Always better than me. I did try smokeless powder for 10 rounds. But I wanted black powder so I just stay with it
