Hello,
So with these changes coming I assume that I should probably wait to get one of these rifles, right? When should we expect the new and improved rifles to come back? I’ve been thinking about getting a brass 45-70.

For whatever it's worth, the "new model" (made last fall) single shot 30-30 I picked up yesterday has no issues at all, other than the heavy trigger due to the saami "drop safety" requirements, and we now know how to cure that. It may be that Henry will quickly have a resolution to that issue, too, with a design change, but we don't know that. For now, I think they're just going to tell us not to mess with the springs . A friend of mine also wants a steel frame 45-70, when I looked around, I couldn't find one available - but I didn't look real hard. It might take a while to get one, in any event.
