Single shot shotgun front sight

Post by 357Mag » Sat Jul 25, 2020 8:41 am

Has anyone tried a TRUGLO or HIVIZ clip on front sight on a Henry single shot ?. Just wondering if one is better than the other, or if there is another brand of glow type sight made just for the Henry ?

I put a TruGlo on a Marlin. It is worth the $20. The front post stands out with the semi-buckhorn. Will it work on a Henry? It is suppose to fit standard dovetails. I assume the single shot has a similar setup as my H009.

I haven't tried those, but have used the the magnetic "clip on the vent rib" type. I found them to be kinda distracting. When I want a more prominent bead, I prefer a plain white one, for what ever that's worth. Either of the ones you're looking at should be OK, though. Have fun with it.

Missed the shotgun part. Sorry.
