Henry AXE
Well Guy's/Gal's,
It's not been that long ago that I got my Henry Lever .410. The one with rifle sights. A Month later they came out with the AXE. Told my LGS to find me one, now the wait begins. We will see how long I have to wait he is a Henry dealer.

Good luck with the wait, hopefully not as long as mine for an 1885 Uberti High Wall....the wait will have a birthday soon. Pics when you get one!

Good luck in your Quest. I hope the local gun store treats you right on the price. I see a wide range in price on that model.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Re: Henry AXE
Is it the caliber that could be holding it up? Think you mentioned .45 Colt. Dealers told me they never know when Uberti will make a certain run of a particular model. Might be a good while before Italian gun works will get cranked up again.RanchRoper wrote: ↑Mon Mar 23, 2020 8:21 pmGood luck with the wait, hopefully not as long as mine for an 1885 Uberti High Wall....the wait will have a birthday soon. Re: Henry AXE
I am hoping to get a definitive answer soon. Last May when I ordered it, Taylors told him they could get a 45 Colt by Sept. Then his import licence renewal screwed things up I was told. Always a possibility he is messing me around but to what end I cannot imagine. There's nothing in it for him to keep me waiting. I bought both my guns from him before and no issues, so I think he is actually having issues (maybe bigger than letting on) and probably expecting to lose a sale soon. Or end up with a 45 Colt High Wall after I buy something else.

Why don't you call H.R.A. and tell them what is going on? Maybe mister I will get involved and speed things up

Re: Henry AXE
I am not in California so I have no idea. Hopefully someone will come along soon and let you know. But almost everything else in California is banned so the AXE maybe too. Hope not for your sake.
I went to the LGS to see if he could find one. All the distributers are closed and they are all doing business from home. You either have to wait while they check on things and never get an answer or you have to email them and never get an answer. So I just got on GunBroker and they only had one with a Buy it now button out of the 7 that was listed. I bought it now and it should be on the way to my dealer soon. It took me almost a year to get my other Henry .410 Lever action. I was not going to wait as long on this one. Yes you guy's are correct. It probably cost me an extra hundred after all was said and done, but Hay I have one coming and not having to search one down. I would rather be enjoying it instead of waiting and looking.

Re: Henry AXE
Dang, I bought and paid for my Henry AXE on 3-24-2020. Just today they shipped it out. Should have it on Monday. Can't wait. 8 day's before shipping, not very customer friendly. But it is coming now.
