these clips are new to me and so far I really like them .... they securely bundle and protect fishing rods during transport and storage .... all of my fresh water open face spinning rods are 6.5 feet or longer and have two or more sections .... these clips really come in handy keeping the pieces securely together when the rod is broken down for transport or storage .... they are reasonably priced and seem to be well made

They look pretty cool. Be interested to see how long they last before they need replacing.

Nice, great idea that I’ll look into. Waiting for the water level to come up but excited to fish.

they are apparently pretty new .... 4 out of 5 stars (based only 14 reviews) on Amazon .... I haven't found them on Bass Pro's website .... I guess time will tell .... I do know they beat the heck out of the rubber bands I've been using

We haven't done any real fishing in the six years we have been in Oklahoma. Sad really, we used to fish three or four times a week in VA. We knew the lakes and rivers well around the farm there. Trophy Bass and Crappie and some of the best smallmouth in the state within a hour or less from the time we hooked up the kayaks. Two hours away we had the Tidewater/VA Beach area for Salt Water.
We have had so much to do to get the new place in order, plus weather and health issues. No salt water around, and we don't know the area here. We got out ONCE in the last six years. Got the kayaks rigged and launched, and the skies turned black and lightening blasted the water across the lake. Out we came.
Just this month we went through all the fly fishing gear, pulled the rods/reels and few pieces of equipment we wanted to keep and set up the rest to sell. Most of it Orvis, most of that either NEW or like new. Not one hit on Craig's List. Tina had enough fly tying supplies to tie for two lifetimes. Not a single bite on that either. All of it in excellent shape. Boxed it in bug proof tubs for now until we decide what to do. If she decides to donate the stuff, I'll pull a couple more rods and reels from the stuff before we donate. LOL.
The same goes for the regular fishing gear. We'll try and take that to a swap meet and see if it will sell. We have a wall full of spinning rods, bait casters and the like. I'll pull my favs, the rest can go. ALL the salt water stuff, baits and lures. The fishing crates, the accessories we will never use. Boxes of rigging. Should sell.
We priced it all TO SELL. LOL.
