Re: lure
My most successful Adirondack lure has been a Blue Fox in any metallic color. I have caught Large and Small mouth bass, perch, sunfish and pike on them. I often forget when I'm in Pike areas and don't use a micro leader. Then I lose both fish and lure. I've lost so many, I started making my own. I have had good success with my own blend. It's easier to lose .25 cents as a opposed to 4.50 a hit.
I'll try to snap a pic of my kit.

Re: lure
Personally I use DEAD fish like blue gills or red ears and they need not smell . I think they love the blood .
