Ricochet Roy's lever wraps

Post by SloopJohnB » Fri Mar 10, 2017 7:49 pm

I installed one on my Big Boy today (large loop), and it is a very nice, classy addition. Definitely worth passing on to others who own Henrys.
Roy's instructions were good. Took me about an hour -- I didn't rush it. The leather quality is supple.

Thanks -- like I said in my earlier post, I took my time and made sure I had the laces tight without over-forcing it. I think I read somewhere on his website where he actually uses baseball leather and lacing material. He must have some kind of laser-guided cutting machine because each hole is really a small slit (IOW, not round) and all perfectly aligned.

That is what you are paying for on a specialty item like this -- his investment in his equipment. If I didn't mention before, his service is outstanding. Very fast shipment. Also, I chatted with him for a while, and a nice guy.
