Spring has sprung. Get out and shoot your Henry

Another good day

Another good day

Post by Cofisher » Thu Jun 13, 2019 6:58 pm

Only caught one today...but worthwhile.

A good, clean channel cat. Maybe 8 lb. going to like cooking it up this weekend.

I'd say I took her with my Henry...but that would be a lie. Haha. Me? A fisherman? Lying? Haha

That's a beauty, but what's the rest of the fish story? Where, bait, what did you name him, etc.?

Her name was oh hell yeah! Night crawler about 30 yards out in my favorite fishing pond. Bank fishing today, will get the boat out soon.

Aside from grandkids, this is what I live for.
Just plain fun.

What do you think? Panfish?

Trolling a rapala behind the kayak today. Several smaller bg's, this one is supper.

Really happy to get out on the water again. Weather has been lousy for so long. I'm sure the shoulders will be letting me know tomorrow.

Nice catches you have there. I'll be in Idaho starting in two days for a couple of weeks. We're fishing Henry's Lake on the Idaho/Montana border Sunday. Can't wait! Imagine that!? Henry's Lake, Henry Rifle Forums? Hmm.

Oh yeah, at Henry's, we catch rainbows or cutbow's. Cutbow's being a cross between a raibow and a cutthroat trout. Usually mighty good fishing there at Henry's. Google images of it, great area. Heck, I'm already thinking of our 4th of July BBQ/fish fry! Yeaaa!

Nice fat bluegill. The definition of "panfish".
