Another good day pt.4

Went out today. A little overcast. I did not catch anything but got to see an eagle fall out the sky and pounce on a big fish. I say it was big because he/she had trouble lifting off with it. Fought with it in the water and then lost it as it lifted. It didn't give up and circled back a couple of times before giving up. The lake is not known for any species that an adult eagle can't handle. Makes you wonder. I shared this happening with a guy sketching the lake scene. Him and I got to talking about stuff and completely stopped what we were doing and just enjoyed the conversation . Two strangers, never to me again, just enjoying the peace and quiet of a lake. Does not get any better then that. His name was Kelly.
