Is there a ratio that equates inches to how much a bass weighs? I caught the biggest bass of my short fishing career today. I know it was 14 inches because I measured it using my tackle box length. To me it felt like two lbs or more but I am not experienced enough to know. By the way, it really gave me tussle. So much fun!!! :D

This article might be of some help to you. There is a "ballpark" chart at the very end, if you only have length of the bass.

That chart looks good to me for fish I've actually weighed. I know there is a formula that uses length and girth, somewhere, if you want to do the calculations, yourself, later. Just be sure to also measure girth, not just length.
