You can do stuff like this during the first week of January. Great day at Roosevelt Lake on Friday with my daughter and Major League Fishing pro Josh Bertrand.

Nice largemouth. We'd have to drill through about a foot of ice to get one of those, right now.

Your picture and naming the water Roosevelt Lake sure got my attention. I fish the Lake Roosevelt up here in Washington and would not be out in a light sweatshirt like your daughter. Congrats to her and you guys enjoying the winter in Arizona.

I'm glad you can fish in January and not be on ice.
I looked up that Bertrand fellow. A pretty accomplished fisherman. I'm glad you all had a great day.

Nice. We used to fish a LOT in VA, but Nov thru Feb were iffy with ice on the ponds. Congrats on liquid in January.

You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.

If I had to name the nicest human being I know, period, he'd absolutely be on my list of candidates.
