Enjoy the new boat when you get it. Sounds like it will be nice. Boats have sure gone up in price the last few years. Like everything else
My neighbor up the street and fellow bird hunter just paid $75,000 for a 1/2 ton with 20,000 on it. New one was $107,000!!!!!

I know you are a Dodge person as you and I have talked about it. I have a 2006 Dodge Ram dually 3500. It has 90K on it and is in excellent condition. Makes it worth about 50K in my book.

Heated tiller? Now that’s just plain smart……

My wife and I joke that we just bought a boat for the dog we don’t even have yet! Yep! That’s what us dog folks do.

Lund is probably the prettiest boat out there with the Crestliner Fishhawk a close second. But, man are they spendy.

Congrats on your (soon) new boat.

You’re probably not far off if it’s 4x4 (6x6?). They are going for CRAZY money in Kalifornia! My ‘05 srw 3500 has 552,000 on the clock, and runs like a Swiss watch. I just had the AC fixed, so now there is nothing it needs (for now), and I bet I could get $20,000 for it these days. It’s moot though, as there is nothing to replace it with.

My 1436 Tracker with 9.9 Merc is likely worth at least $4,000 at this point in time. I paid $1700 for the brand new boat, and super low hour fresh water engine 4 years ago.

Thanks. I looked at Lund 16’ and 18’ SSVs, but I wanted the big open cockpit and flat decks of the Jonboat. Lund makes a model called the Predator that is almost identical to the Tracker I bought, except it is more than DOUBLE the money, and not available until 2023 since they ceased all Jonboat production to allocate their limited materials to the more expensive models.

Tracker does make a pretty boat if you look at their Bass Tracker line...

My motor is at the dealer, and hull has a production date assigned, so we are moving forward...

Might want to check out Lowe boats. I used to live nearby (Lebanon, MO) and can tell that, in the past anyway, they made the Tracker for Bass Pro. I don't know if they still do.

That’s interesting to know. There are lots of people that look down on Tracker, but I’ve compared them in person to Lowe and Lund, and frankly I think they are as well if not better built.
