playing cards

After splitting the bullets last week on the knife blades RetiredSeabee said about splitting cards. This morning I was in town and stopped at the Dollar store and bought a deck of cards for a dollar. When I got home it was still calm so I wanted to try it and the 513T Rem. was already on shooting at the knife edges. I taped the cards to the card board and shot again at the 22 yd. target. These were very hard to see and if the sun hadn't been at the angle it was I could not have seen the edge at all. The first shot at the left card it didn't hit it dead center but it left a gray streak from the front to where it got into the card. The next shot was better at the joker card and got it perfect from front to rear.
So I was ahead on this game and quit. So after sitting there a while I decided to shoot a little more and put up some more cards. I had different ammo already on the shelf so I just shot with it. It was ammo this rifle likes but not the same I shot the cards with. I shot the left two targets first being the ace. After those five I moved it up and left. Then the Jack was shot five shots with the same ammo. I had to color in the black spot on the Jack card to see it. The two on the right were shot with older CCI ammo that has been outside on my shelf for a while. The 3 of hearts target at the top was seven shots to finish the box up and the others are all five shots. Notice how from the top target to the bottom target the slightly lower POI the bullet has. This is usually always present on targets shooting from the porch and going down the target. Never matter much on critters but is there on the targets and would matter in matches. Maybe that is why most ranges are level. First two cards I shot.

These four were shot left to right at the 33 yd. target I usually use.
