Since the outdoor kitchen is functional I thought I would combine it with shooting since it’s under the same cover.

Here I’m shooting offhand at 20 yards at about a 15” square. Even in the dusk I could hit it ever time. However that’s not saying much.

If you look at the trailer door and draw a line across that is 10 meters. That is the distance I usually shoot with 10 meter targets. Yes I know I still need to clean up the construction debris. I switched the refrigerator door from right to left instead.

Looks good Gene. That Alaskan Amber is some good beer. Like it myself.

Thanks Al, I think I’ve drank more beer in the last two months than I have in the last 40 years. This is my 29th beer! Well maybe not that many. Some were drank by neighbors.

Thanks Joanie, I started this project 17 years ago but cancer and other things got in the way.

Neighbors know I’m building this and stop by with words of encouragement asking when is the first breakfast being served.

It is a fully functional cooking kitchen. I prepare the corn on the cob, chicken and other dishes inside the house where I have a sink and then will place about three days prepared food in the outdoor refrigerator. My coffee maker is out there along with a toaster and electric teapot. The sad part is I will only have a few more weeks to enjoy it before the summer season ends. When temperatures drop below 40 degrees at night I will not be able to use the refrigerator and when it freezes I can’t have the coffee pot out there.

However I can shoot year round.

That's amazing. I always have a better appetite and appreciate good food when I'm eating outdoors.

Plinking, good food and a cold brew - it don't get much better than that.
