4th of July

Post by Wisconsin Shooter » Mon Jul 04, 2016 11:08 pm

Happy 4th to all and thanks for your service to all our vets. We could not be doing this but for you.
Set up 3 targets, 2 for my 45 Henry and 1 for my M1 Springfield. All 50 yards with elbows on the bench. Shooting 250 grain cast with 7.5 and 8 grains Unique. A little better groups from 7.5 grain. Let a young man fire the M1. Whoever shoulders that weapon and pulls the trigger always smiles. Maybe some day when my groups tighten up I will learn to post pictures. Tomorrow evening is muzzle loaders league.

I would love to see a picture of the M1. In the mean time tell us more about it.
