beautiful rifle and excellent range report .... Thats a nice looking Single Shot. I bet the big boys talk to you though with that brass butt plate.

That is one beauty of a rifle and for that kind money a great bargain from the quality of the wood and brass!
Great shooting with that .45-70 too !
I have a 1885 High Wall in .45-70 and it is fun to shoot...especially with a 500 gr. torpedo...OUCH !

Beautiful rifle, indeed. But then, it's a Henry. Haven't seen an ugly one yet. Some good shooting too. That wood is really nice.

I'll be posting another range report on the Henry Single Shot near term. I found a .45 70 that it really likes. Come to think of it, I like it, too.

Same here, excellent write up and review. The wood grain in that stock has some real character.
