Range chick took a hit!

Post by fortyshooter » Mon Mar 02, 2020 10:02 am

 Yes all it took was a hard breast hit with the Henry .44 Mag and it sent that little chick flying breaking loose a not so penetrating weld!

Had to take it home to my target hospital for a mend!

Got to hit them dead on...lol
Remember, it's not how many guns you have. It's how many bullets you have.

That is a lot of torque that bullet put to that target. The way it was bent and the weld break.
Looks like a Hunter Pistol NRA size usually at 40 meters I think.

Got me on that one Al!!
When shooting that little chick from 20-25 yds. lucky to hit it someplace!

That was a good looking but cold weld. Heat setting wasn't high enough to penetrate to foot. That was the factory weld on AR500 steel.
Now I make my target feet out of thinner mild steel and they seem to hold up better like on the big coyote.
