Ten round range report

It seems like it’s been forever but I finally got the BBSC 357 back to the range today. My “range” is actually some farm land my mother-in-law owns.

After shooting two 5 round groups, a young man with a scoped rifle comes traipsing by. Apparently he was the grandson of a man my MIL said could hunt the property. Since he was deer hunting and I was just punching holes in paper I decided to pack it up and let him hunt.
I did get two good groups at 35 yards while propped. I used my usual ammo (Monarch/PPU 158gr SJHP). The first round was low because I was using a six-o’clock hold. I quickly adjusted to cover the bottom half of the target and got good hits. The target on the left was my second string of 5. I must have gotten warmed up because it was a 3/4” group with the Skinner peep and blade front. I’m VERY happy with that one. I got to quit on a high note.

Good shooting! I'll take that anytime. Is that the factory front blade?

It’s a blade I got from Skinner.

Yes, sir. Now I just have to figure out how much (or little) to move that rear sight to the right to move my POI 1/2” to the right at 35 yards. It won’t be much. That makes it difficult to measure. :D

Great shooting. I would be proud of that!
Oh, I hope the young man got a deer. Don't know, after 10 rounds of 357 though. :o

I wouldnt knock either one of those groups even if the first one was low. What size aperture are you using in the skinner rear sight.
