H004VL Golden Boy 17HMR

After I had checked out my Kimber I shot my 17HMR for the first time. Had to make a slight elevation adjustment at 50 yards but then was busting clay birds consistently. Put 9 rounds on a target covering 2-1/2 inches which for me with iron sights was not too bad. Also took some shots at some left over clay targets on the 100 yard range and was hitting around them, definitely need a scope for that distance anymore. Did not have much time ... only shot 50 rounds but I enjoyed it. Was getting some rounds barely ejecting while others were fine. Don't think I was cycling slow, will pay more attention next time.
I do like the 17HMR round, I had some great targets at 100 yards with my scoped CZ shooting this caliber last fall. I can't compete with some of the shooting I have seen on this forum but I have fun.

I'm a fan of the 17 HMR.
Really excels 75 yards and beyond.
A scope allows old eyes to take advatage of the HMRs accuracy.
