Made a quick trip to the range late this morning to blast some dust off my ol' Glock 23 .40 cal.
Really humid out there so didn't bother with taking pics...just wanted to see if I could hit some steel.
After a few shots I again found where to hold on target and was hitting the swinging plates from15 yds. and also managed a few hits
on an empty "Repel" spray can. Finished up with some fast repeated hits on the gong from 35 yds.
Was great to shoot the ol' Glock again which seems to get lost among my guns as far as shooting goes!

Well don't know about better but I find that a flat sided grip gun like most semi-autos seems to help me shoot better
compared to some shaped grips found on single action revolvers.
Lots of times I tend to hit to the right of center with some of my revolvers and I believe it has to do with how grip might
be moving or settling in palm of hand when pulling trigger. Doesn't take much movement and it could be happening right at trigger break.

Good point, forty. The classic single action plow grip was designed for drawing from the holster and providing the right balance to the gun, but it is by no means a target grip. Takes so work getting the grip right, but when you do, it can be very effective.

I don’t shoot my Glock 23 all that much, but I really like it. I will always remember when I first took it out and shot it, and for some reason that day I was Hickok45. I couldn’t miss. Maybe some day I’ll get dies to load 40 S&W and I’ll shoot it more.

I remember ol' Hickok's famous quote...."If I could only have one Glock it would be the G23"....my have times changed!

I frequently carry my Glock 23. Also like my Glock 36 and Glock 19. All are basically the same size the only difference is the calibers. All are fun to shoot.
