My wife's shooting

NCG said she was impressed with my wife shooting the 10/22 Ruger when I showed her targets on the forum. She does shoot very well for her limited time to shoot. While I was looking for something in my cluttered up drawer I ran across something to post on her center fire shooting from the bench at a 100 yds. She shot this several years back when I bought her a nice used Remington 700 "Classic" 223. We had it already shot in dead on at a 100 yds. I took 5 fired 45 ACP empty casings and cut five holes in a card board box and stuck them in the box rim facing out. Closed the lid on the box hoping they would be inside. She hit all five and four we found inside the card board box. She was really thrilled with her new gun and how well she could hit with it. She was using this rifle with a 6-18 scope on about 16X. This is her casings we found.

So I started teasing her about not hitting the primers in the middle of the casing on each shot. So she picked up two 44 mag. aluminum casings on the ground and said "Let's see how good you can do." So I stuck them in the box like I did hers. I was a little afraid maybe I couldn't hit them but I know my Savage Swift is a real shooter most all the time. I shot a shot at each one and we walked out to the 100 yd. target board and found the casings in the box. I handed them to her and I never said a word. She looked at them and them looked at me and said " I am done and I quit." Here is the casings I shot with the Swift. It didn't let me down.
Image Look how nice the bullet in the right casing fits in the primer pocket.

I am glad she only found two for me to shoot or I may have missed had there been more. :D

That is simply incredible, you and her, both. Have to give those guns credit, too, of course, but it's the shooting that is so impressive. Great job, you two.

nicely done by both of you .... proof positive that it doesn't take shooting high dollar targets to make lasting memories
