Back porch shooting

Got a break in the rain and winds a few times yesterday and decided to shoot a few rounds out of my CZ Grand Finale. It is nice to be able to walk out on the back porch and shoot some rounds with out driving to the range. Had the bench at 35 yds. from my bullet trap so that is the distance I shot at. I shot five shot groups with four different brands of ammo that have proven to be good performers in this rifle. Two different lot #'s of RWS Target Rifle and one lot of Norma Tac 22 and one lot of SK Plus along with a good lot number of Geco bolt rifle. Lot number L8 RWS has been about the best of the RWS but some days it can be the L6 that is very slightly better. The SK usually does well but at $550 compared to $290 for the RWS I will use the RWS. The Norma Tac is good but not quite as consistent as the RWS. The Geco is the only lot I have tried in this rifle so far but I three cases of three different numbers. Sorry for the patched up target but I am out of the card stock paper so I had to make due with a used target. Upper left low shot was at a fly but I missed it. I hit six flies the other evening with shooting eight shots with this same rifle. The big holes in the paper were plastic push pins I shot.I am really happy with the 452 Grand Finale and glad I was able to get one. A friend and member here just got his GF and will maybe do some pictures and range reports on his. It looked nice on the pictures he sent to my wife's phone and he said it shoots really well with RWS. Target is from Saturday late afternoon.

Nice bandit and the gun has nice wood. But you missed one thing in that picture. All target and gun photos now require towels to be official.

Bandit, I stepped out on the back porch a few minutes ago, and banged off 5 rds. from the 45 Cowboy.
50 yds to the gong.
255 gr cast and 10 grs of Unique sure swing that thang at that distance.

I always kind of wished Hickock45 would will me his range. Be kind of neat if I could do that off my back porch.

Back porch, front porch, no porch. It's all good.

I've been looking for Hickock to do a review of the new side gate Henry's, but so far no joy.

Great groups, bandit, but not a surprise given the shooter and the rifle. I keep wondering about getting a Grand Finale, too. Might have to check on availability. Love all the other CZ rimfire series, but I still think the original 452 is the model that says what CZs are all about the best.

Your backyard is a lot more accurate than my backyard.
I wish I could shoot well enough to detect minute differences in target ammo.
BTW, If I were your friend with the same rifle, I wouldn't show nothin.........
Going back there now to shoot a few with the Classic. I'll leave the bolt gun in the house

The view from mine, 49 yds. to the targets from the edge.
Overgrown dozer pile behind those.

I have access to a 50 yard range, in my brothers front yard, and it's only 10 minutes from my house.
I have another 50 acres that I could put a range on, but it is also my/our hunting ground, and I don't want to scare off the deer by doing too much shooting there.
It's tempting, but for now we're sticking with the 50 yard range.
