It’s been a few weeks since I’ve shot and wasn’t expecting much. Here is my 455 CZ International in .17HMR
I bench shot these five rounds at 100 yards

Then the second five rounds spread beyond the six inch calibers.

This is the reason I’m loosing interest in shooting. My eyesight is getting so bad I can barely hit paper after just a few rounds. But it’s more that that. In the morning the first 30 rounds didn’t even hit paper because the target was in the the shade and I was in the sun. So I sat there for two hours while everyone else was shooting.

Once the sun reached the target I was able to shoot decent....for five rounds.

Don't be too hard on yourself. Still see a lot of the old Sir Henry in those targets, Gene. You still got it. Besides, 100 yards with a 22 and open sights is anything but easy, even on the best of days for those of us who shoot frequently enough to be at the top of our game. Even then, it takes days when the light is just right and our eyes are their sharpest. 100 yards with an open sighted 22 LR is the last place you start after a layoff. Try closer in, working up to that distance as you get back in your groove.

Then, too, that FS with its short 20" barrel and short sight radius would not be my pick for 100 yard work with open sights. My 100 yard tangent sight CZ is an Ultra Lux with that crazy long 28" barrel. That gives me a sight picture with a precision that cannot be matched with a shorter 20" barrel. I regard our FS CZ rimfire as 50 yard shooters.
