A little shooting tonight

with the H006M and an H&R single shot in .45 Colt, which is very fun to shoot.

Not a very long range as the maximum distance is 50 feet, but still fun. The one with the most hits is a combination of 357 and 38 special at a distance of either 25 feet or fifty feet with about 6 hits from the H&R at both ranges. The one with a hit on each target is all from the H&R at 50 feet. They also have a metal plate rack that took some hits from both rifles tonight, but no magnums are allowed on that setup.

I find that it shoots the 357 a little low and the 38 special pretty much right on target. Hard to gauge much when the maximum distance available is approximately 17 yards but still a lot of fun. I probably put close to 100 rounds through the Henry tonight with no issues.

I like the part about "no issues".

That is good solid shooting for any distance.

But when you say "tonight", do you have a range with lights?

We sometimes, once a week or so, setup up those yellow construction type lights they sell at Walmart, and I have a shooting table with an overhead lights and several lanturns, etc, and we shoot in the back yard.

At night, we stick to the airguns. They can be just as much fun though, IMHO.

That might be a good thread, "Show us your backyard range".................

Offhand with open sights. This was at an indoor range.
